Warren Controls are used in many parts of a mechanical room and facility and are available electric or pneumatically actuated.
Warren Controls Valves are found throughout mechanical rooms. Applications include control valves in front of Air Handling Units (AHU’s), heat exchangers and boilers in addition to steam PRV stations. In tank applications Warren Controls engineers overflow traps, float cages and vacuum breakers.
Valves are available with electric or pneumatic actuators. Electric actuators are extensively used in coordination with a facilities BMS system. Fehlinger understands the interaction of equipment and how the entire system works. This is critical when selecting the materials and size of a valve. Many valve sellers will choose inferior valve materials to lower initial price but with a significantly loss of longevity and ultimately reliability.
Warren Controls are the OEM control valve on Patterson-Kelley heaters. This is the Warren 2900 series. Fehlinger can help you replace or repair your control valves for shell & tube semi-instantaneous hot water heaters. See this post by Al Gunnarson; Warren Controls VP Sales & Marketing – Warren Controls Aria for Instantaneous Water Heaters and Heat Exchangers and an article on valve sizing in ValveWorld.
5800 Series (Electric and Pneumatic): The 5800 series is the valve Fehlinger recommends for high pressure steam applications. The equal percentage and linear plugs provide excellent modulating control of a wide variety of fluids. Situations where the 5800 excels are, but not limited to, temperatures ranging from -20F to 800F, severe service, dirty fluids, high pressure drops and corrosive fluids.
1800 Series: The 1800 is a large globe valve available in up to 12”. It is commonly used for high pressure, high pressure differentials, corrosive materials, liquids, gases and steam.
2800 Series: The Warren 2800 Pneumatically Actuated Control Valve offers precise flow control for industrial applications, combining durability and performance. Designed for high-pressure systems, this valve ensures reliable operation in demanding environments. It is ideal for industries requiring efficiency and minimal downtime, ensuring consistent performance and enhanced system control.
